Layyah: Assistant Special Chief Minister Punjab Syed Raffakat Ali Gilani is working hard for the construction and development of Layyah. Work has started on the construction, expansion, and maintenance of the city's busy highway. Lub Neelam to Tail Indus 12 km road will be completed at a cost of Rs.25 crore. Deputy Director of Development Kamran Javed said this while giving details about the speed of work on the project. He said that the work on Tail Indus from Lub Neelum to Housing Chowk, Housing Chowk to Takchahri Road, via Hastanur Rahman School is going on fast. Director of Development Kamran Javed said that these connecting roads were dilapidated, which caused severe inconvenience to the residents of the area, especially the students, and they had to travel more, while the construction and repair of these roads will ease traffic and reduce the rate of accidents. He said that Monitoring of the work is also going on and the road construction will be completed on time.
