Lahore: It has been 10 years since the famous comedian of Pakistan Lehri left his fans. Lehri Sahib's name was Sefirullah Siddiqui but in the film world, he gained fame as Lehri. He started his journey in the film world with the film Anokhi. Kiya Jo was released in 1956. Lehri's film journey continued from 1950 to 1980. His last film was Dhanak in 1986. According to an estimate, he acted in 220 films, all of which were Urdu films except for three Punjabi films. He was honored with the Nigar Award. He was the first comic actor to win 11 consecutive Nigar Awards for his excellent performance. Apart from the film world, Lehri also brought smiles to everyone's faces with his unique comic acting in plays and stage shows. Ambassador Allah Siddiqui alias Lahri, who radiated joy and gaiety on faces, left the mortal world on September 13, 2012, in Karachi due to severe illness.
